I promise it wasn't me who bought all these bottles!

Well, at least the apples at the bottom are organic...

And here some of my girls (still sobber) sporting the adorable hats I got from Lily:

Thanks a lot dear, they are all made of cuteness. <3
1. How much time do you spend on the Internet daily?
less than I'd need and more than I'd like.
2. What are your favorite 3 websites?
it really does vary a lot. lately i've been reading crafts/decoration/illustration weblogs because my eyes are deeply in need of the soothing beauty those pages provide.
3. Do you eat at your computer?
i love eating in front of the computer. it's my second favorite place in the house to eat, being the first choice at the kitchen table together with Alaric. it's warmer than in the dining room now, because it's winter and the aga is lit
4. Pick one and why - Reading the news online or in a newspaper?
newspapers, always. they have a better feel, my eyes do not get tired, i can take them everywhere and i always go for the full article, i hate those annoying internet clippings.
5. How many people are on your instant messenger buddy list?
i really do not know. it's been ages since i last used it.
i'm realizing i should give up from instant messengers for good.

I think I've accidentaly discovered a quicker way to remove Blythe chips (as long as you don't want to keep the old ones). I am sure it's not new, but I never heard about it anywhere, and yes, I attend a lot of doll forums... Whatever. If I can remove all my girls chips easily, without having to open heads or (argh!) using that gruesome gluestick thing... It's a bonus. I'm in love with my plastic big heads all over again.
Talking about changing stuff...
Finally, some of my Pullips are gonna be shipped to have her faceups redone soon. Yay!
She is really beautiful and has a drop dead gorgeous body.
But 700 dollars is a bit too much.
The last visitors are gone, so I plan to take my little life back to normal. My mind and soul are wiling to hibernate for a while, I guess. I ended up losing some friends when I moved here, and I was kind of expecting that, anyway. But still, it saddens me. Spent the last days on stand by sewing for Emmaleth. That's one of her (unfinished) summer outfits, a bit late of course.
I'm fed up with the competitiveness of girls on the internet. It's all about cliques, badmouthing people who do not share the same opinions and tastes, comparing weight, height and hair. I miss my male friends so much, sometimes. They were always the ones to cheer me up and rise my self esteem when I needed. Oh well. I have so many good things going on in my life right now, apart from people. So many good things planned to happen. I really shouldn't be complaining. People are people, they will never change - and I won't either.
Back to domestic chores. And some more sewing therapy after that.
Both arrived this morning, and seem to be getting along rather well. Crazzia wig is great, but I'm not sure if I should call her Heather or not. My Pullips have flower names, Craziia is scottish and Heather is a very popular flower in Scotland.
Does every kamar doll come with that "I am made of love" tag? And if the fabric tag in the back says KAMAR JAPAN, why does the paper tag says USA? Whatever. He's cute.
Tried to change Delilah's pink chips to brown, but one got lost inside her head. Which means I'll have to open it. In a way that will be good, as it will be easier to change the other eyechips. I'm fed up with this gluestick method, really.
But Sheridans was already missing a pair, so I just put these lime green ones and simply loved them. Gotta buy more.
Still not sure if I like this place here or not. It's very convenient to upload your pictures/videos directly to the site (LJ's scrapbook is such an useless mess), and the collections galleries are rather cute. But I don't like the way they do not give you freedom to display your pictures on your post the way you want them to be seen. And sometimes they offer you so many options that you end up a bit lost. Let's see how things will improve.
And my Woodmate little kirchen arrived this afternoon. It's very very cute, but really, how many more cute dollie furniture do I need? Haha. I'm hopeless.

What is your browser's default home page set to? Well, here is google, just because it's easy to load and always useful. Plus, it's not like I don't use it everyday, so it saves me time.

Are there any snacks, food or candy that are no longer made that you desperately miss?
I guess I was never too attached to candies as a kid. It would be more like, "I like chewing gum, but any chewing gum would do". Most of my favourite foods are not processed and can easily be home made. But if they ever stop producing Madeleines I'd have to learn the recipe fast or kill myself.
Here's a silly picture of my Pullip family... Badly done (I am not good in taking pictures of lots of dolls together) and incomplete, because my Withered (still unnamed) hadn't arrived yet and Heather (my Craziia) is still to arrive.
Went to Rozel bay with husband and mother this morning for a bite to eat, and noticed the old bloke cleaning his garage nearby. Soon there was a pile of old stuff inside a skip in front of the house, in which he sticked a paper sign: HELP YOURSELF.
I got 8 Barbie dolls (some very pretty) and outfits, a cute dress that fits Moyra, some nice books, a Burberry suitcase (with a broken handle, but that's ok) and other toys. All for free. I did my bit for the free circulation of goods - result!
I rarely buy Barbies new in box. There are so many gorgeous ones being sold for cheap at charity shops. I prefer to adopt old, ill treated Barbies in need of some good TLC. Now I'm going to try and save their hair - some of them are very frizzy. Will post pictures later.
Talking about pictures... Here's Emmaleth, my Narae. The jacket is from a My Scene boy doll - I never thought it would fit her. The socks are from Dollmore and I am SO happy that all my MSD sized shoes fitted her so well. No need to buy more shoes, yay! The skirt was made by me and I'm quite pleased with it. I can't put in words the pleasure that it is to see my dolls wearing unique outfits that I have made for them. Ah, the cheap pleasures of life.
